Art Camp at Wandawega
This Weekend was lovely and magical up at Camp Wandawega in Elkhorn, WI. I was invited to come to Art Camp, a curated weekend of workshops among Chicago makers. On Saturday I hosted a 2 hour weaving workshop that ended up being an entire day. People milled in and out of the tent trying out the lovely looms I brought made by Emily Brock of Board and Bread.
In addition to workshops hosted by myself, The Foxglove Studio, Cities in Dust, Steve Juras and Steven Teichelman, there were three delicious meals a day, lovingly prepared by Sage Reed, Soo Choi, Heather Crosby and Johanna Lowe and to top it all off a delightful evening of music by Jim Becker, Elise Bergman and Jerimiah Chui.
Now that I am back home in Chicago I am dreaming of homemade french toast, lake swims, treehouses and campfires. Happy to have met so many lovely folks and share some art and food with them.
