Between the Work: Artist Conversations on Living and Making Oct
Between the Work is a one-hour online gathering designed to hold space for artists to speak openly about their lives and creative practices. It’s not a critique. It’s not a panel. It’s a conversation circle and discussion group. In this facilitated space, we center presence, honesty, and mutual listening. Each session invites artists to reflect on the inner terrain of making: What’s alive in your practice? What’s falling apart? What do you wish someone would ask you right now? Whether you’re feeling blocked, prolific, isolated, or just tired—this hour is for you. Together, we will discuss and commiserate from the studio and our lives in this current moment. Speak from process, not product, and from truth, not performance.
Where: ONLINE via Zoom
When: Wednesdays, October 1, 8, 15, 22, 6 pm - 7 pm Central Standard Time
Instructor/Facilitator: Dee Clements
Cost: $30 / person
Please carefully consider your commitment before registering, as space is limited and preparation begins well in advance.
• Cancellations made 30 days or more before the workshop start date will receive a full refund minus a $25 processing fee.
• Cancellations made fewer than 30 days before the workshop start date are non-refundable, as materials and planning costs have already been incurred.
• No refunds or credits will be issued for no-shows or same-week cancellations.
We understand that emergencies happen. While we are unable to offer exceptions to the refund policy, if you are unable to attend, you are welcome to gift or resell your spot to another person. We will do our best to assist in filling your spot, but cannot guarantee a replacement.
By registering, you agree to these terms.
Health & Safety Note: If you are experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness or have been exposed to something that could pose a risk to others (e.g., bedbugs, COVID, etc.), please contact us immediately. We ask all participants to prioritize the health of the group and our shared space.
